Squad Announcement – Rochdale Hornets

HEAD Coach Rhys Lovegrove has today named his 21-man squad for Sunday’s Betfred League 1 Round Three visit of the Rochdale Hornets to Cougar Park.

Injuries sustained in last weekend’s defeat to the Barrow Raiders has forced Lovegrove’s hand in terms of changes to the squad.

Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e (Leg) and Dan Parker (Hamstring) both miss out through the injuries that forced them from the field at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium on Sunday with Zach Braham (Hamstring) also ruled out through injury.

Ben Stead comes back into the side after missing out at Barrow with Spencer Darley included for the first team this season after returning to training in early April from shielding.

Bobby Darbyshire and Josh Slingsby, both products of local community club Keighley Albion, are named in the squad for the first time and if selected will make both their Cougars and professional debuts against the Hornets.

This week’s game comes too soon for Mo Agoro (Leg) as he continues his recovery from injury whilst Ryan Wright misses out.
