Squad Announcement – Coventry Bears

HEAD Coach Rhys Lovegrove has today named his 21-man squad for tomorrow’s re-arranged Betfred League One Round 7 fixture away at the Coventry Bears.

Lovegrove has made three changes to the squad that ended the Barrow Raiders undefeated start to the 2021 season last weekend.

All three changes are enforced with Taylor Prell and Spencer Darley both unavailable due to work commitments whilst Alfie Seeley departed the club on compassionate grounds earlier this week.

New signing Con Mika is brought into the squad and is expected to make his debut tomorrow evening at the Butts Park Arena.

There is also a recall for Ben Stead whilst Josh Lynam returns to the side for the first time since late May after being side-lined through illness.

Scott Murrell (Hand) and Billy Gaylor (Shoulder) have both been cleared to play by the medical department following the injuries sustained in the victory over the Raiders.

Robert Matamosi is unavailable for selection as he represents the British Army in the 2021 Armed Forces Championship.

Jake Webster (Ankle), Aidan Scully (Shoulder), Bobby Darbyshire (Concussion), Wellington Albert (Ankle), and Alix Stephenson (Leg) all remain in the treatment room as they continue their respective rehabilitation programmes.
