Keighley Cougars Head Coach Rhys Lovegrove has today named a 23-man squad for Sunday’s Jake Webster Testimonial fixture against the Castleford Tigers.
Following last weekend’s victory away at Newcastle Thunder, Lovegrove has made three changes to the squad that made the trip north to Kingston Park.
Jake Webster, who assumed his coach duties against the Thunder, will take to the field to play in his testimonial game.
He will be joined by former Tigers and Cougars teammate Luke Gale, who is available after serving the final game of his suspension carried over from 2022 on Saturday evening.
The third player returning to the fold is Mo Agoro who has successfully completed his return to injury protocol following sustaining a concussion in training during pre-season training.
Alix Stephenson (Leg) is ruled out through an injury sustained against the Thunder whilst both Josh Lynam and Anesu Mudoti miss out on a place in the squad for this Sunday.
Brad Walker (Shoulder) and Lloyd Roby (Knee) are continuing their rehabilitation from injury whilst Thomas Doyle is still serving a suspension with the hooker unavailable until our Round 2 fixture away at Widnes Vikings.
