Keighley Cougars can confirm the signing of 23 year old hooker, Oli Burton
With Championship experience at Batley throughout the 2024 season, Oli joins the Cougars for the remainder of the 2025 season.
“Oli joins us for the remainder of this year as we explore our recruitment targets for the 2026 season. He’s someone I really like and offers a different dynamic around the ruck. He’s just coming back from a foot injury so there’s no pressure to integrate him into the team just yet, but he’s someone we wanted to get into our environment and have a look at going forward.”
Head Coach, Alan Kilshaw has worked with Oli through two previous loan spells at Hunslet in 2022 and 2023 and welcomes him to the squad on Tuesday next week.
