Keighley Cougars are delighted to announce the signing of Lewis Pavier for the 2027 season!
Lewis joins us following his time in Castleford Tigers’ academy, having previously represented Wakefield Trinity at scholarship level and started his rugby league journey with Featherstone Lions.
Now the 19-year-old takes his next step at Cougar Park, with the opportunity to develop under Matty Bramald and Ryan Jackson and compete for his place alongside our experienced players.
Head Coach Matty Bramald:
“We’re pleased to bring Lewis into the squad. He’s come through some good environments at Wakefield and Castleford, and we’re looking forward to working with him as he takes the next step into senior rugby.
“Pre-season will give him the chance to settle into the group, show us what he can do and work towards earning his place.”
Richard Dibbin:
“It’s great to welcome Lewis to Keighley. Giving players an opportunity to progress is an important part of what we’re building, alongside retaining and recruiting the experience needed around them.
“Lewis has an opportunity here, and we’re looking forward to supporting him and seeing how he develops in a Cougars shirt.”
Welcome to Cougar Park, Lewis!
