Keighley Cougars can confirm the remainder of the pre-season fixtures with two games scheduled for January at Cougar Park.
First up on January 12th is the visit of Chris Thorman’s Newcastle Thunder team as they look to build on what was a difficult 2024 season by kicking off their 2025 campaign at Cougar Park.
January 19th sees the visit of Championship neighbours, Halifax Panthers. Kyle Eastmond’s men make the short journey to Cougar Park looking to start their new era. Familiar faces in the Panthers team may include Charlie Graham, Joe Hird and Ben Crooks who would be in contention for Eastmond as he looks to cement his starting line up.
For the Cougars both games will be a challenge and form part of Jake Webster’s pre-season schedule. Home debuts for Tanē Bentley, Harry Bowes, Leo Aliyu, Oliver Whitford and Brad Holroyd could be on the cards.
