Keighley Cougars can confirm Junior Nuu will join Bradford Bulls Reserves on dual registration.
Junior featured for Cougars in the away wins at Newcastle and Rochdale as well as the defeat to Hunslet in May.
Jake Webster, DOR said “Junior is an athlete and has all the attributes of a rugby league player. He is from a Union background and needs game time and I thank Ryan Hunkin at Bradford Bulls for offering to help out. As a centre myself, I see a lot of good habits and attributes with Junior, he just needs to adapt and learn the intricacies of Rugby League.”
Junior is in line to feature for the Bulls reserves against Castleford on Saturday.
Powerful but lacking in penetration – perhaps one of the reasons we lost Charlie Graham when he was overlooked in favour of two powerful but slow centres. By the way – slow attackers are also slow defenders. Look for pace like Peter Roe – John Stevenson – Joe Bardgett – sorry to sound old fashioned but experienced players alone don’t win games!
