KEIGHLEY Cougars forward Brenden Santi has this morning been named in the Italy squad for the upcoming Rugby League World Cup.

Santi, who is currenlty the captain of the Italian national side, is amongst the 25 man squad that will represent the nation in their third World Cup appearance.

This will also mark the popular forward’s third World Cup for Italy, for whom he qualifies through heritage.

Brenden and his fellow countrymen will face Australia, Fiji, and Scotland, in the Group Stages of the tournament.
