Keighley Cougars can confirm Josh Lynam will undergo an operation on his finger this week following our friendly with Bradford Bulls. Josh is expected to only miss a couple of weeks of pre-season.

Brandon Pickersgill suffered a suspected fracture to his finger in the same game, however following x-rays that does not appear to be the case and will be back for the Challenge Cup game against York Knights RLFC.

Elliott Cousins has recovered from the concussion suffered in the festive fixture and will be in contention to play against Newcastle Thunder.

Billy Walkley and Brad Holroyd also had HIA’s in the same game and both passed their relevant tests before leaving the stadium.

Aaron Brown is scheduled for hernia removal surgery on January 14th and will be back in action once healed.

Harry Bowes will have to wait a little longer to make his debut at Cougar Park while he recovers from a minor calf injury.

Valu Tane Bentley is recovering from wrist surgery but will face a further six weeks out of action before being considered to play.
