Keighley Cougars can confirm Elliott Cousins has left the club and will return to his Community Club, West Bowling.
Elliott had featured for the club in the early pre-season fixtures and was craving regular game time and it was mutually agreed he would feature more consistently at West Bowling.
Interim Head Coach, Jordie Hedges said “Elliott leaves with our best wishes and we fully understand the commitment required to play League One. We have a big squad and sometimes it’s just not possible to get every player game time. We are sure Elliott enjoyed his time at Keighley and he returns to West Bowling with our blessing. It’s been a pleasure to have him with us for five or six months and at 31 years of age it’s testament to his character that he has tested himself at League One level.”
