Keighley Cougars can today confirm the addition of Danny Burton to Alan Kilshaw’s Coaching Staff.
Danny an ex-Hunslet Hawks player, joins head coach Alan Kilshaw and assistant coach Jordie Hedges at Cougar Park. He brings a wealth of experience at professional and amateur levels, to the role.
More recently Danny has spent time at Leeds Rhinos as an Assistant Coach to the Academy and Reserves set up.
Danny has worked with Alan before at Hunslet making a play-off run in 2023 and the two re-acquaint themselves again in BD20.
Alan said “Danny is someone I trust, he is very defence orientated and compliments Jordie Hedges really well. He’s been here a few weeks now and some of the fruits of his labour are starting to show.”
