Keighley Cougars can today the loan signing of young Yorkshire Academy prop, Joe Hird who joins the club on an initial two-week loan with a view to extend.
Director of Rugby Jake Webster believes Hird will add strength the the front row.
“We have been working really hard, looking at permanent/loan signings as well as dual registration options and these will continue, however I am delighted we have been able to bring in Ex-Leeds reserves captain Joe on loan from Sheffield Eagles who will add some much needed strength in the squad going into this important sequence of fixtures. Joe is an exciting prospect and is in contention for this weekends fixture at Barrow.”
