KEIGHLEY Cougars have today closed Cougar Park as a safety precaution in line with both government and RFL guidelines.

A visitor to the ground has reported to the club that they have tested positive for COVID-19 during the weekend.

All who were working within the premises at the time of the visit in question have been informed and are now following guidance and precautions put into place by the both the government and the RFL.

We can confirm that no member of staff has returned a positive test at this time.

As a result, Cougar Park has now been closed to allow for a deep clean and we will inform supporters when the ground is re-opened.

The club shop is also now closed for the foreseeable future. Supporters however can ring or email Margaret to place orders in the meantime.

Unfortunately, this development means we are unable to provide free school meals to those in need.

However, we remain committed to make sure that no child in Keighley and the surrounding areas go hungry.

And as such, we will be making a donation in lieu to causes helping to feed those in need.

You can still claim free school meals during half term this week by visiting one of the following places in Keighley and the surrounding areas.

  • The Lord Rodney
  • Bronte Hotel
  • The Market Pantry
  • Jacket Potato Stall (In Association with Holroyds & Game On)
  • Disco Planet
  • The Fleece Haworth
  • 22 Square – Crosshills
  • The Brunch House
  • Five Rise Locks Café
  • Haworth Old Hall
  • The Loft Café Bar
  • Steeton Top Café

We thank you for your understanding and co-operation at this time.
