Keighley Cougars are delighted to announce the signing of half back, Jake Sweeting on a deal until the end of the 2023 Betfred Championship season with an option in the clubs favour for 2024.

Jake Webster, DOR said “We’ve been busy in the recruitment department at Keighley recently and when we were alerted to Jake’s availability and desire to come at play at Keighley in the Championship it made sense that we jumped at the chance to bring him in.”
Sweeting said “I’m looking forward to my chance to play Championship rugby again. When I heard Keighley were interested in me it was a no brainer. I had enjoyed my footy at Hunslet but I really see myself as a Championship standard player. I have come to Keighley to take my chance.”
Sweeting’s player registration was filed with the RFL within the deadline for this weekends fixtures and Jake is in contention to play in this weekends Pride game against Whitehaven.
