KEIGHLEY Cougars were today delighted to present the monies raised from our NHS shirt sales to our charitable causes.

As a thank you for all the hard work put in by key workers during the COVID-19 epidemic, the club launched special edition NHS shirts to both thank those on the frontline, and also raise much needed funs for those worthy causes.

Following the sales of the shirts, which proved massively popular with fans of all clubs across the world, we were delighted to raise a final total of £6,892!

And today (Thursday 8th October) saw Cougars Chairman Mick O’Neill present Jodie Hearnshaw, the Fundraising Manager at Airedale Hospital, with a cheque for £3,446.

Mick, along with Head of Media and Administration Joshua Chapman, then posed with a further cheque for £3,446 which will be donated to the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice within the town.

The Keighley Cougars would like to thank all those who bought shirts for making these donations possible and we hope the money raised will go onto support both Airedale Hospital and Manorlands throughout the remainder of the pandemic and beyond.
