Leeds Rhinos pair Joe Diskin and Jacob Stead join the Keighley Cougars on loan and are available to play ahead of the round 7 clash against Newcastle Thunder.
Former Dewsbury Moor junior, Joe Diskin is the son of former 4 time Super League Grand Final winner and GB international Matt Diskin. Following in his Father’s footsteps he plays in the Hooker position and joined his Father’s former club in 2022 and is yet to make his Super League debut. In the 2025 Academy Origin, Diskin was Yorkshire’s starting number 9.
Loose Forward, Jacob Stead also featured for Yorkshire in the 2025 Academy Origin, coming off the bench in the 42-10 win over Lancashire. Stead formerly played for Bradford side West Bowling before joining the Leeds Rhinos Academy
