Following Sunday’s fixture against the North Wales Crusaders, the Betfred League 1 trophy presentation will take place at Cougar Park

HOWEVER, the presentation will ONLY take place should supporters co-operate with the club and follow the instructions listed below.

Whilst we understand the excitement and want to share in this moment together as one club, the immediate safety of players, staff, and dignitaries, is of top priority following the game.

The club is at RISK OF A FINE should supporters enter the field of play whilst supporters who are identified will be BANNED INSTANTLY under new restrictions brought in by the government over the summer months following incidents at the end of the last football season in May and June.

Once the match has finished, the Keighley Cougars players will return to the dressing room.

This will allow for the presentation to be put in place for when the players return to the field.

IF SUPPORTERS ENTER THE FIELD OF PLAY AT ANY STAGE DURING THIS TIME, THE PRESENTATION WILL NOT TAKE PLACE.

Once the presentation has been set up, the staff and players will be introduced one by one back onto the pitch to be greeted by the dignitaries ahead of the trophy presentation.

The last player to take to the field will be captain Jack Miller, who will be presented the trophy by Simon Johnson, chairman of the Rugby Football League.

Following the trophy presentation, the immediate loved ones of the players will be allowed to enter the field for photo opportunities.

IF SUPPORTERS ENTER THE FIELD OF PLAY DURING THESE STAGES, THE PLAYERS WILL LEAVE THE PITCH AND RETURN TO THE DRESSING ROOMS.

Once the photo opportunities with the immediate loved ones have taken place, the players will take part in a lap of appreciation.

AGAIN, SUPPORTERS MUST NOT ENTER THE FIELD OF PLAY DURING THE LAP.

Following the lap of appreciation, the players will leave the pitch and return to the dressing rooms.

ONCE THE PLAYERS HAVE LEFT THE PITCH FOLLOWING THE LAP, THAT IS WHEN SUPPORTERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE FIELD OF PLAY.

Following the completion of the presentation, photo opportunities and lap of appreciation, the Hall of Fame will be opened.

There will be a live DJ on throughout the evening and the club will ensure the trophy is present for a period of time for supporters to partake in their own photo opportunities.

We thank you in advance for your co-operation on this matter and look forward to seeing you at Cougar Park this Sunday afternoon.
